Porcelain veneers are fine ceramic layers, individually made and bonded to the front of teeth to refine their shape, shade and symmetry. In careful hands they are how discoloured, worn or uneven front teeth are transformed while still looking convincingly like teeth — the craft lies in restraint, not in uniform white squares.
01
Design around your face
Photographs, models and an unhurried conversation about what you actually want — often previewed with a reversible mock-up before any tooth is touched.
02
Prepare conservatively
A fine layer of enamel is prepared — modern veneers remove far less tooth than their reputation suggests — and precise impressions go to the ceramist.
03
Bond and balance
Each veneer is tried in, checked in natural light, adjusted for bite and harmony, and bonded only when you are happy with what you see.
Good to know
Veneers are a long-term commitment: prepared enamel does not grow back, so a considered practice will always discuss more conservative options — whitening, bonding, alignment — before recommending them.
